Kimberly Crochet Shawl Pattern Tutorial (One Size)
This stunning and light shawl uses a combination of two yarn weights to create a light and airy effect. The color combinations for this shawl are endless, with either an ombre effect or complimentary colors, either are sure to turn heads. This fashion accessory is not one that will stay in your closet but small enough to toss in a bag and pull out when chilled or to dress up an outfit.
Supplies
• Approx. 1300 yards of yarn as detailed below
• 4.00mm (G-6) Hook or size to obtain gauge
• Note: a larger hook may be required to obtain same gauge with lace yarn
• Removable stitch markers
• Yarn Needle
• Blocking Mat & Pins
Yarn:
Knit Picks Palette (231 yds each) in:
Comfrey (Color A)
Seraphim (Color B)
Pennyroyal (Color C)
Oyster Heather (Color D)
Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud Lace (440 yds each) in:
Oyster Heather (Color E)
As long as gauge is met, other yarns of the same weight can be substituted:
Super Fine / Fingering: Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering, Quince and Co Finch, Brown Sheep Nature Spun Fingering
Lace: Cascade Yarns Alpaca Lace, Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Lace, Valley Yarns Hatfield
Finished Measurements:
36” (91.5 cm) across top
61” (155 cm) along straight side edge
71” (180.5 cm) along diagonal edge

Gauge:
17 sts and 10 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Shawl pattern
OR 17 stitches and 15 rows = 4” (10 cm) in single crochet
